The craft beer
As old and as modern as Beer...
The Assyrian-Babylonians and the Sumerians were the first civilizations producing a fermented drink based on cereals. Now beer is consumed all over the world, requested and appreciated from the east to the west.
The Italian law does not have regulations for "craft beer". Given that, microbreweries are
usually selecting only the best ingredients for their craft beers, without using preservatives and additives, in order to achieve unique products.
Further, craft beers are usually obtained from processes which are less stressful to the
ingredients when compared to industrial brews. In this way, craft beers preserve more of the flavours and aromas of the raw materials and are also suitable for aging.
